Literature Text

Alone we are no more than dust,
Begging for another out of lust,
We're like fire and gasoline,
Safe, when we don't intervene,
Together, an intoxicated explosion,
Our desire spreads faster than corrosion,
Once aroused, we fade to ash,
Never designed to mash.

I really like the thought behind this (for lack of a better way to describe my thoughts). I really like the imagery of the fire and gasoline, and how, just like you said, come together in an explosion, but in the end really shouldn't be put together. This is really short and simple, yet very strong, as well as very creative.
Well done.

That's all I really got as far as critiques go. If there's anything you were really unsure about in this, just tell me and I can go a little more in depth. =)
