Literature Text

Just the thought of you,
Sends chills down my spine.

My heart races,
Faster than my mind can think.

My fists clench,
My lips tremble.

Frozen in fear,
My body still.

Please,
Just allow me to
Breathe.
Just another poem.

Take what you want from it :)

I love how you talk of that one moment when you set eyes on that one person. The one person who just seems to make the world stop. make it impossible for one to do some thing such as breathe. But at the same time the words are plain. The words are common. There is no depth to the words. There is no hidden meaning to be found in the words. Which is what one wants there to be in a poem about love. One wants to think about what the hidden meaning is behind the words in the poem are and what they mean to one person.
